Study skills
Before reading, decide what you want to learn. Look through the title, section headings and illustrations to understand the overall topic.
As you read, note key words and questions. At the end of each section, explain its main idea in your own words rather than copying the text.
After reading, write a short summary of what you learned, the reasons that support it and how you could use or explore it further.
